Poetry in Purple. Pastel.

"Poetry in Purple"
12x9" Pastel on U-art.

Look like I'm finally getting back to my painting...
This is another brand-new piece I did this night.
Pastel on U-art 400 sanded paper.
This was painted from memory of beautiful meadows
what I got to see in Massachusetts few years ago.
Green grass and purple overlay of flowers...
I painted it before, but never getting tired f this scene.

Waiting for the Rain, Pastel.

Waiting for the rain,
12x16", Pastel on paper.

This piece was a test for new paper, some of my students brought to me to try.
I did ask how it was called, but lady wasn't sure and I never saw this one before.
I decided to give it a test without mounting it to the board. I sort of do like it,
but not totally sure for just one try. I have another piece
and hope to play with that one sometime soon.
this is another painting f farm fields just behind of my Best Friend's farm,
few miles away from home.

Once Upon A France, Pastel.

"Once Upon A France",
12x12" Pastel on panel

After significant brake in my art blogging I'm finally back to it and going to post
some new paintings... This one is the first Pastel Painting for 2017.
In fact it is total re-do of old painting from years ago.
Washed off with organic solvent and totally repainted.
After my trip to France in 2016 I feel different about this subject,
even more poetic... Hopefully I managed to reflect it at this work.
Enjoy!

Karen's scarf - fiished!

Look at all those Cattle Dogs!
Do not ask me... I do not know how many, as whole bunch of the
is wandering all over the background.
It was fun (and long!) project to paint.
But now I'm finished.

Another silk scarf.

Just a snap shot of my new work in progress -
one more what I do for my dear friend, Karen.
Karen owns a bunch of those adorable rascals,
called "Australian Cattle Dogs".
I love those guys (almost as much as my schnauzers).
This will be a scarf with portrait of her dogs.
Something special what she will not be able to get any other way...
Much more work to do and I enjoy this work.

"Where Egrets are Dancing", Pastel.

"Where Egrets are Dancing"
 11 x 14' (approximately) on U-art 400. Pastel.

My latest painting I just finished last night. One more version
of the same scene I painted before - Wildwood Lake
wet land sanctuary in Harrisburg, PA.
Regardless how many times I painted that place -
it is always a joy!

"Redhead" pastel, Tatiana Myers.

"Redhead", 8 x 10",
Pastel on sanded paper.

This piece was painted on location in CT this October.
I was in love with the turning tree by the marsh land
and had great time painting it.
Finished in studio by memory.
