"Framed" Oil.

"Framed" 14 x 11"
Oil on Ampersand Gessobord.

I started working on this painting in 2012 in a hope to be able to finish it on-time
for Salon International 2013 (what will be open this April).
Soon I realized the sad truth - painting wasn't going to dry quick enough
for me to be able to finish it to meed the show deadlines.
I decided not to rush with it and finish painting when IT will be ready.
"IT" decided to be finished today, what made me totally happy.
Now I don't have to care any more when it will be dry and just move on...
to another one!

"Wrong Glass", Oil.

"Wrong Glass" 16 x 12"
Oil on Ampersand Gessobord.

Another finished piece in 2013 Still Life series.

This one was real fun to paint. I was worried about the cheese,
never painted it before, but it turned to be a piece of cake work!
The only really challenging part was a label.
But I think I figured out how to do it easier (and better!) next time.
What also to say about this one?... A Title!
Thanks to My friend, Michelle that came easy too:
I didn't have wine glasses in my house and used this one instead.
Honestly I was waiting, if somebody will spot it and ask "why?"
Michelle did and this is how Title came about.
Now I'm just drying it and getting ready to finish another one.

I prefer to think about it as another successful painting
for upcoming 2013 show season. But we will see.

First eight 6x6 Flemish paintings are finished.

This project was started at beginning of December 2013
and today I finally finished the last out of 8.
Almost 3 month of work, including drying time
and several periods when I wasn't working on those for
different reasons.
Happy to see it finished, later this year I will be working on more.
