Veronika in Oil Pastel. Update #1.

"Veronika" Oil Pastel on U-art.
Worked some more with my oil pastel painting of Veronika.
It is my first try with Oil pastel and U-art and it is my first try with Oil Pastel and portrait... therefore it IS complicated. So far I love her nose, hate her eyes and all over appearance is more like doll-like Cherry-2000 at my opinion.. But I learned a lot about what I'm doing right and wrong and after I'm done with this painting I'm pretty confident, next one will be easier to do.

With questions about my paintings e-mail me at TanyaOfOz@aol.com .

  1. Paul Cezzane painted Monte Sainte-Victoire how many times to master it? You have done how many of Veronika? I think you are close to mastery already. They are beautifully done.

  2. Thank You, ladies!

Pat, you are so funny! It takes.. what it takes. I don't know how many times I should paint her, but I'M NOT HAPPY!... Grrrr!.... I think it is getting there, slowly... but this is NOT what I want to see yet. Maybe with time.... I hope! :-) Just a half-dozen more of Veronikas and maybe!... ;-))))
