"Summer Poppies", Oil WIP.

"Summer Poppies"
14 x 11", Oil on Ampersand  board.

And another busy day. And not like I moved to far with this painting. Of course I'm going to catch up some more this night, but not much.  I like to keep it very simple this time. Not much of precise drawing. Not much of ANY drawing. Just one brush for everything. Very relaxing work. Just what I need this days.

  2. Just found your blog and love your work. I particularly like From Above with the light rays coming down through the trees. Very effective.

  3. Thank You, ladies!
"From Above" is one of my personal favorites at this moment. But I guess it should be this way, because it is one of my latest works and I'm trying to make each new painting just slightly better... Or not so slightly... or try something totally new. In "from Above" it was about light, of course.
