"Morning"
Pastel on Wallis board 9 x 6"
Last night started another pastel painting. Very small, good study size. I took the same subject what I did before in Oil Pastels - scene from the local wooded area... sun-lighted and simple.
I want to keep this one very light without heavy pastel layering and to do so I started with watercolor underpainting. I put all major shapes down last night, dried it and started with some pastels... just like a hint of color to give me an idea what I'll be working with... I like it so far and hope to finish later this evening after I'm done wandering around and do things what have to be done first.

As beautiful and realistic as every one of your pieces are, Tatiana, I have to say that this is my absolute favorite of them all - just as it is. Truly enchanting!
