McKee's Half-falls revisited.

Today's Plein Air session at one of my favorite local spots - McKee's Half-Falls.

I desided to work on mounted Wallis paper, because I wanted to use
wet technique for my underpainting.

I had two perfect hours of painting time, while Irina had some reading time
and also took several pictures of me painting and chipmunks playing.

This étude is available now at DPW auction.

Hope to get out next week for another session.

  1. I really like seeing behind the scenes and what goes into your work...
    A nice post!

  2. Thank You, Sue! One of my favorite local spots to paint.
