"Madonna and her Schnauzer" WIP. Update #1.

Here is surprise - I had a time not just to finish my drawing, but also have it transferred on La Carte and even try some color on it. I again have a feeling that I don't have right browns, but will have to figure out something. So much for today, I have to work some more on another drawing, since I have a lesson tomorrow and that one has to be ready, this one on other hand may wait as long as it takes.

  4. Thank you, Autumn! I usually have this very expression when I'm with my animals... (Doesn't always applies to people).

Adrianna and Mario, thanks to both of you!
I' also looking forward to see it finished, I'm long time not in portraiture... But I still sort of like it, so let see what will happen.

  5. Thank You, Paula!
Funny part about this pastel painting is - I started working on it after taking my first WATERCOLOR lesson with Larry Lombardo. Our first session with him wasn't about watercolor at all, but about drawing. So, after I finished my lesson, I decided to try something totally my own and did this. Aperiantelly what works for watercolors works for pastels too! :-)
